Sand the worn or weathered surface first with coarse P400 sandpaper and then with fine P3000 sandpaper. Clean the area with soapy water or degreaser and let it dry. Apply 2 to 3 coats of the spray, leaving 1-minute intervals, until the desired shine is achieved.
